I keep hearing reports that several movies that have been released within the last 2 month can't be decrypted. Since I don't have any of those movies I can't tell you whiter these reports are true. However I've found a way to rip movies without actually decrypt them. If you use the DVD2MPEG Squeezer you can convert your DVDs directly from your DVD drive. The process takes an insane amount of time but it actually works and you can avoid pretty much any legal issue surrounding the decrypting utilities. It will also make it possible to rip those NTSC movies that FlaskMpeg chokes upon (those in which the video structure changes from interlaced to progressive regularly - read the ripping guide for more info) I've also updated the list of movies I successfully ripped in the ripping guide. |
