Setting up TMPG for AVI/ASF/WMV input

Start up TMPG then press the Browse button to the right of Video source and select your video source.

Then press the settings button and go to the advanced tab.

Normally TMPG sets these options correct by default. Let's just verify that Video source type is set to Non-interlace (progressive), field order will be Bottom field first (most likely), and the source aspect ratio is 1:1 (VGA). Last but not least the Video arrange method is full screen (keep aspect ratio).

If you want to crop the source double click on Clip frame and crop as many lines as you need.
